A beautiful and evil woman in American film years 1915-1950, the evolution history of a vamp.

Femme fatale, wamp, film, 1915 -1950
The work below describes the history and evolution of the character of an evil woman in the american cinema through the years. Beginning with the first role of a vamp played by Theda Bara (in 'A Fool There Was'), through such stars as Greta Garbo, Marlena Dietrich or Rita Hayworth, we can observe the changes the image of a femme fatale has undergone between the years of 1915-1950. Using a selection of films as examples we discover what are the key attributes of a femme fatal and the ways ofseduction the characters employed. We learn about both her psyche and the qualities necessary for the creation of a femme fatale image.
Praca opisuje historię i ewolucję postaci kobiety złej w filmieamerykańskim. Począwszy od pierwszej roli wampa, którą odegrałaTheda Bara (w filmie "A był on głupcem"), poprzez takie gwiazdy kinajak Greta Garbo, Marlena Dietrich czy Rita Hayworth, możemy zobaczyć wjaki sposób wizerunek kobiety fatalnej ulegał przemianom w okresie 1915 - 1950 . Na przykładzie wybranych filmów dowiadujemy się jakie sącechy charakterystyczne kobiety fatalnej, jakie sposoby uwodzeniastosuje, poznajemy zarówno jej psychikę jak i niezbędne cechywizerunku.
