Characteristics of consensually non-monogamous relationships; polyamory and its types

Niniejsza praca miała na celu przedstawienie związków otwarcie niemonogamicznych ze szczególnym naciskiem na związki poliamoryczne i ich rodzaje. Celem pracy była odpowiedź na pytanie, w jaki sposób tworzone są tego rodzaju relacje, jaka jest ich dynamika, ze szczególnym uwzględniam obszarów tj. zdrada czy kompersja. W części teoretycznej przybliżono charakterystykę takich związków i zwrócono szczególną uwagę na ich różnorodność na podstawie dostępnej literatury. W części badawczej przeprowadzono dziewięć wywiadów swobodnie ukierunkowanych. Badani byli wyszukiwani poprzez grupy facebookowe, zrzeszające ludzi zaangażowanych w relacje poliamoryczne, średnia ich wieku wyniosła: 25,5 lat. W części przedstawiającej wyniki wywiadów wyodrębniono następujące kategorie: Spotkanie z poliamorią, próba definiowania poliamorii, wierność, zazdrość i kompersja w relacjach poliamorycznych, stosunek do monoamoryczności, zakładanie rodziny, a poliamoria, komunikowanie potrzeb i związane z tym problemy, reakcje środowiska (bliskiego i dalszego) na poliamorie, legalizacja związków poliamorycznych i problem ostracyzmu społecznego, czynniki sprzyjające w byciu w relacjach poliamorycznych oraz plusy angażowania się w tego rodzaju relacje.

The aim of this study was to present openly nonmonogamous relationships with particular emphasis on polyamorous relationships and their types. The purpose of the following work was to answer the question of how such relationships are created, what are their dynamics, with an importance given to areas such as disloyalty or compersion. In the theoretical part, the characteristics of such compounds are presented and specific attention is paid to their diversity on the basis of the available literature. In the research part, nine freely directed interviews were conducted. The respondents were being searched through Facebook groups associating people involved in polyamorous relationships, their average age was 25.5 years old. In the part presenting the results of the interviews, the following categories were distinguished: the meeting with polyamory, the attempt to define polyamory, faithfulness, jealousy and compersion in polyamorous relationships, attitude towards monoamorousism, starting a family, and polyamory, communicating needs and problems related to this matter, reactions of the environment (close and distant on polyamory, legalization of polyamorous relationships and the issue of social ostracism, factors conducive to being in polyamorous relationships and the advantages of engaging in this type of relationships.
