Material and spiritual culture sustained in microtoponyms

Głównym celem artykułu jest ustalenie tego, w jaki sposób nazwy terenowe utrwalają kulturę materialną i duchową mieszkańców wsi. Podstawę analityczną tekstu stanowi ponad 1000 mikrotoponimów z obszaru gminy Wręczyca Wielka (powiat kłobucki, województwo śląskie), które zgromadzono w latach 2011-2017 podczas prowadzenia eksploracji terenowej. Do analizy materiału włączono również uzasadnienia nazwotwórcze poszczególnych nazw wskazane przez rdzennych mieszkańców wsi. W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono pokrótce przemiany językowo-kulturowe, które rozpoczęły się na obszarach wiejskich po II wojnie światowej i trwają do dziś. Druga część tekstu ma charakter analityczny. Przybliżono w niej sposoby utrwalania treści kulturowych za pośrednictwem mikrotoponimów.

Th e main purpose of this article is the attempt of establishing how geographical names sustain material and spiritual culture of inhabitants of the village. Th e analytical basis of the text is more than 1000 microtoponyms from the area of Wręczyca Wielka (Kłobuck, Silesian Province) which were collected from 2011 to 2017 during the geographical exploration. Th e analysis of the inquiring sight also contains explanations of each names pointed by aboriginal inhabitants of the village. In the fi rst part of the article the author shortly presents linguistic-cultural changes which began at the rural area aft er the Second World War and which have lasted to these days. Th e second part of the article is the analytical part. Th e author concentrates on the ways of sustaining cultural content by means of microtoponyms.
