Web Writing. Creating functional texts for the Internet

Współczesny pęd życia i ilość napływających informacji wpływają na sposób, w jaki internauci zapoznają się z treściami online. Tworzenie tekstów z myślą o użytkownikach Internetu może znacznie ułatwić im przyswajanie zawartych w Sieci informacji, a także zwiększyć atrakcyjność serwisów. Bezpośrednio wiążę się to z jednym z aspektów użyteczności stron internetowych, mianowicie z webwritingiem, którego znaczenie w ostatnich latach wzrosło.W niniejszej pracy zaprezentowano wiedzę teoretyczną dotyczącą tworzenia funkcjonalnych tekstów na potrzeby Internetu wraz z ilustrującymi ją przykładami. Omówione zostały poszczególne elementy tekstów, a także kwestie związane z wizualnym aspektem prezentowanych w Sieci treści. Na potrzeby pracy stworzony został także serwis internetowy pozwalający na ocenianie stron WWW pod kątem webwritingu. Przetwarzanie gromadzonych przez powstałą aplikację informacji ma szansę z powodzeniem przyczynić się do rozwoju dziedziny, jaką jest web usability, a w szczególności webwritnigu.

Information flow in current society is accelerated highly by the effect of online material gathered on the internet by each user. User oriented web-writing will enhance efficiency and comport absorbing information, moreover increase attractiveness of the web based services. Therefore, the awareness for web-writing in terms of usability has risen in recent years. In the paper state of art and theoretical research for design and implementation of functional texts and its elements for web is presented. Remarkable examples were illustrated and described to investigate usability as well as visual aspect of the web pages. In order to further analyze the usability of the websites in view of web-writing, web service where users can rate specific websites within the aspects chosen based on the theoretic research. It is believed that the processing the rating of numerous users via service created would examine the theory researched and contribute to the further researches in the area of web usability in terms of web-writing.
