Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie pozycji ustrojowej głowy państwa we francuskich aktach konstytucyjnych w okresie 1814 - 1914. Praca została podzielona na cztery rozdziały. W pierwszym z nich została ukazana ewolucja ustroju monarchicznego oraz republikańskiego we Francji w okresie 1791 - 1914. Kolejny rozdział został poświęcony analizie pozycji ustrojowej monarchy w Kartach Konstytucyjnych z 1814 i 1830 roku oraz w cesarskich Konstytucjach z 1852 i 1870 roku. Trzeci rozdział skupia się na prezydencie w Drugiej oraz Trzeciej Republice Francuskiej. Czwarty i zarazem ostatni rozdział stanowi analizę porównawczą pozycji ustrojowej monarchy oraz prezydenta w okresie 1814 - 1914.
The aim of this thesis is to picture the political position of the head of state in the light of the French consititutional acts between 1814 and 1914. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first one pictures the evolution of monarchical and republican system in France during the period between 1791 to 1914. The next chapter is dedicated to describe the politcial position of the monarch in Constitutional Charters of 1814 and 1830 as well as in imperial Constitutions of 1852 and 1870. The third chapter focuses on the president in French Second and Third Republic. The fourth and final chapter consists of a comparative study of a political position of the monarch and the president during the period from 1814 to 1914.
