Artykuł jest próbą stworzenia narracji dotyczącej praktyk kuratorskich za pomocą symboliki Wielkich Arkanów tarota. Każda z kart ma indywidualne znaczenie, które umożliwia jej interpretację. Poprzez analizę poszczególnych kart i skonstruowanie za jej pomocą opowieści, której bohaterką jest kuratorka Ernesta Thot, zostaje stworzona pół fikcyjna, pół realna opowieść. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu zbadanie, w jakim stopniu narracja literacka może nam powiedzieć coś nie tylko o profesji kuratora sztuki, ale także czy można przeczytać jego działalność za pomocą kart tarota. Ponadto artykuł ma na celu ukazanie, że czerpanie inspiracji do tworzenia opowieści o sztuce może dokonywać się przez eksperymenty także na pograniczu projektu kuratorskiego i artystycznego, czym też jest odbywająca się już regularnie na łamach różnych periodyków rekonstrukcja życiorysu Thot.

This article is an attempt to create a narrative about curatorial practices using the symbolism of the Great Arcana of the tarot. Each card has an individual meaning that allows it to be interpreted. Through the analysis of individual cards and their use in constructing a story, the protagonist of which is curator Ernesta Thot, a half-fictional, half-real story is created. This article aims to explore the extent to which literary narrative can not only tell us something about the profession of art curator, but also whether it is possible to read their activities through tarot cards. In addition, the article aims at showing that inspiration for the creation of stories about art can also be drawn from experiments on the borderline between curatorial and artistic projects, which is also the case with the reconstruction of Thot's biography, which has alreadybeen carried out regularly in various periodicals.
