The Organizational Structure of the Sejm and Selected Functions of the Sejm

Celem mniejszej pracy jest szczegółowa analiza struktury jak i przedstawienie czynności podczas prac legislacyjnych i innych kompetencji Sejmu Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem jego wewnętrznych organów, takich jak Marszałek Sejmu, Prezydium Sejmu, komisje sejmowe, a także kluby i koła poselskie. W pracy przedstawiam, jak są zbudowane te organy i zorganizowane, jakie mają kompetencje oraz w jaki stopniu sposób współdziałają w ramach procedur parlamentarnych. Istotnym punktem mojej pracy będzie także omówienie procesu wyboru poszczególnych organów i jednostek Sejmu oraz przedstawienie zakresu ich kompetencji w parlamencie. Moja analiza będzie oparta na przepisach prawa, literaturze przedmiotu oraz praktycznych przykładach z działalności sejmowej, co pozwoli na wyciągnięcie wniosków dotyczących mocnych i słabych stron aktualnej struktury organizacyjnej Sejmu.

The aim of this smaller work is to provide a detailed analysis of the structure and presentation of activities during legislative work and other competences of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, with particular emphasis on its internal bodies, such as the Marshal of the Sejm, the Presidium of the Sejm, Sejm committees, as well as parliamentary clubs and groups. In this work, I present how these bodies are structured and organized, what competences they have and to what extent they cooperate within parliamentary procedures. An important point of my work will also be to discuss the process of electing individual bodies and units of the Sejm and to present the scope of their competences in the parliament. My analysis will be based on legal regulations, subject literature and practical examples from the Sejm's activities, which will allow me to draw conclusions regarding the strengths and weaknesses of the current organizational structure of the Sejm.
