Przedmiotem pracy jest analiza działań Agencji Frontex w dobie kryzysu migracyjnego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem problemu łamania praw człowieka. Na początku przedstawiony został zarys rozwoju współpracy państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej w zakresie ochrony granic zewnętrznych, począwszy od powstania strefy Schengen, aż do powołania Europejskiej Agencji Straży Granicznej i Przybrzeżnej w 2016 r. Następnie, na podstawie Rozporządzenia 2016/1624, przeanalizowano strukturę wewnętrzną i zadania Frontexu oraz przedstawiono postępy w realizacji owych zadań w praktyce. Na końcu przybliżono problem respektowania praw uchodźców podczas działań Agencji, prowadzonych na Morzu Śródziemnym.

The main purpose of this master thesis is to analyze the activities of the Frontex Agency in the face of the migration crisis, focusing mostly on the human rights violation problem. At the beginning this thesis presents the evolution of the cooperation between the European Union member states in the field of external border protection. Next follows the description of the internal structure and main tasks of the Frontex based on Regulation 2016/1624. Finally, the author focused on the problem of human rights violation during Fontex operations, especially considering Mediterranean Sea area.
