Being an "older sister". Scout community between responibility and affinity

Praca koncentruje się na kwestiach relacji wśród harcerek i bada deklarowane przez członkinie organizacji "siostrzeństwo". Bada motywacje harcerek do pozostania w organizacji. Zawiera analizę relacji między przełożonymi a podopiecznymi przez pryzmat struktury i hierarchii w organizacji, obejmowanych funkcji. Relacje odzwierciedlają się także w harcerskiej metodzie wychowania, której poszczególne zasady są opisane na podstawie sytuacji z terenu. Wychowanie odbywa się też poprzez samą relację, która z jednej strony przypomina tą mentorską, z drugiej ma cechy relacji "siostrzeńskiej". Na końcu znajdują się rozważania na temat wypalenia, szczególnie wypalenia w organizacji wolontaryjnej, a także kwestii zmienialności zasad organizacji i rosnącej formalizacji.

The work focuses on the issues of relationships among Polish Girl Scouts and examines the "sisterhood" declared by the memebers of the organization. It examines the motivations of the Girl Scouts to remain in the organization. It contains an analysis of the relationships between superiors and charges through the prism of the structure and hierarchy in the organization, and the roles they assume. Relationships are also reflected in the scout method of education, the individual principles of which are described based on the situation from the field. Education also takes place through the relationship itself, which on the one hand resembles the mentoring relationship, on the other has the characteristics of a "sisterly" relationship. At the end there are considerations on burnout, especially burnout in a voluntary organization, as well as the issue of the changeability of the organization's principles and increasing formalization.
