Social pathologies in the lives of the main characters in Hakan Günday's novel "The Few"

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie i omówienie patologii społecznych obecnych w życiu głównych bohaterów powieści „Mało” autorstwa Hakana Gündaya. Rozdział pierwszy został poświęcony autorowi książki oraz nurtowi literackiemu „yeraltı edebiyatı”. Przedstawiono biografię Hakana Gündaya i jego dorobek, uwzględniając dzieła dostępne odbiorcy polskiemu. W części poświęconej nurtowi „yeraltı edebiyatı” przedstawiono sposób interpretacji tego terminu w literaturze tureckiej oraz zweryfikowano zaliczanie twórczości pisarza do tego nurtu. W rozdziale drugim dokonano analizy patologii społecznych w odniesieniu do głównych bohaterów powieści. Wykorzystano liczne źródła naukowe związane z prezentowaną tematyką.

The aim of this thesis is to illustrate and discuss the social pathologies present in the lives of the main characters of the novel "The Few” by Hakan Günday. The first chapter is devoted to the author of the book and the literary movement called "yeraltı edebiyatı”. Hakan Günday's biography and his works are presented, including works available to Polish audiences. The section devoted to the "yeraltı edebiyatı” trend presents the interpretation of the term in Turkish literature and verifies the inclusion of the writer's works in this trend. The second chapter analyses social pathologies in relation to the stories of the main characters of the novel. Numerous scientific sources related to the presented topic have been used.
