W pracy magisterskiej przedstawiono proces rekrutacji i selekcji jako element zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi wykorzystywany w przedsiębiorstwach oraz podjęto próbę opisania procesu rekrutacji i selekcji stosowanego w przedsiębiorstwie Garmond Press S.A. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie najważniejszych informacji na temat procesu rekrutacji i selekcji jako niezwykle ważnego elementu w zarządzaniu zasobami ludzkimi oraz analiza tegoż procesu w przedsiębiorstwie Garmond Press S.A. Przyjętymi metodami prowadzenia badań były badania literaturowe, analiza dokumentów przedsiębiorstwa Garmond Press S.A. oraz interpretacja wyników uzyskanych podczas badań ankietowych wśród pracowników tejże firmy.Wyniki badań przedstawiają proces rekrutacji i selekcji jako jeden z najistotniejszych działań w przedsiębiorstwie w dziedzinie zarządzania. Nieodpowiedni dobór kadry pracowniczej może nieść za sobą katastrofalne skutki w postaci strat finansowych oraz moralnych firmy. Rekrutacja w przedsiębiorstwie Garmond Press S.A. przeprowadzana jest dość poprawnie, niestety są pewne zaniedbania ze strony kadry zarządzającej, szczególnie podczas okresu adaptacji nowego pracownika, ale także w stosowaniu rekrutacji wewnętrznej oraz w korzystaniu z doboru technik rekrutacyjnych.

This master’s thesis presents the recruitment and the selection process as part of human resource management used in business, and an attempt to describe the recruitment and the selection process used in the enterprise Garmond Press SA. The thesis presents basic information about the recruitment and the selection process as an important element in human resource management and analysis of that process in the enterprise Garmond Press SA. The methods of research were the study the literature, the analysis of business documents of Garmond Press SA and the interpretation of the results obtained during the survey among the employees of that company. The results show the process of recruitment and the selection as one of the most important activities in the company in the field of management. Inappropriate selection of personnel may have some disastrous consequences in terms of financial losses and the morale of the company. The process of enrollment in the company Garmond Press SA is carried out quite correctly, but there is some negligence on the part of the management, especially during the period of adaptation of new employees, but also in the use of the internal recruitment and the selection in the use of recruitment techniques.
