Cemeteries and memorials in the Niepolomice municipality and the Niepolomice Forest.

W swojej pracy magisterskiej p.t "Cmentarze i miejsca pamięci na terenie Gminy Niepołomice i Puszczy Niepołomickiej" starałem się przybliżyć najważniejsze cmentarze wojenne oraz miejsca pamięci związane z Puszczą Niepołomicką i Niepołomicami, pochodzących głównie z okresu I i II wojny światowej. Niniejsza praca składa się z 3 rozdziałów. W pierwszym rozdziale zostanie omówiona historia miasta Niepołomice z szczególnym uwzględnienie Zamku Królewskiego i kościoła parafialnego pod wezwaniem Dziesięciu Tysięcy Męczenników z góry Ararat. W drugim rozdziale zostały zaprezentowane cmentarze wojenne z okresu I wojny światowej z uwzględnieniem historii działań wojennych na terenie Galicji oraz organizacją cmentarzy na wspomnianym obszarze. W trzecim rozdziale pracy omówiono historię Puszczy Niepołomickiej oraz pomników i miejsc pamięci znajdujących się na jej obszarze. Przedstawiono ogólny zarys historii wspomnianego kompleksu leśnego oraz okoliczności powstania miejsc pamięci związanych głównie z historią z okresu I i II wojny światowej.

In my master's thesis entitled "Cemeteries and memorials in the Niepolomice municipality and the Niepolomice Forest", I tried to present the most important war cemeteries and memorial sites related to the Niepolomice Forest and Niepolomice, mainly from the period of World War I and II. This work consists of 3 chapters. The first chapter will discuss the history of the city of Niepolomice, with particular emphasis on the Royal Castle and the parish church of the Ten Thousand Martyrs of Mount Ararat. The second chapter presents war cemeteries from the period of World War I, taking into account the history of military operations in Galicia and the organization of cemeteries in the mentioned area. The third chapter of the work discusses the history of the Niepolomice Forest and the monuments and memorial sites located in its area. A general outline of the history of the above-mentioned forest complex and the circumstances of the creation of memorial sites related mainly to the history of World War I and II were presented.
