Głównym celem niniejszej pracy dyplomowej jest zaprezentowanie idei flexicurity w kontekście działalności polskich publicznych służb zatrudnienia. Nazwa flexicurity powstała z połączenia angielskich słów flexibility (elastyczność) oraz security (bezpieczeństwo). Omawiana idea łączy zatem dwa przeciwstawne komponenty rynku pracy – elastyczność i bezpieczeństwo zatrudnienia. Jednym z podstawowych elementów flexicurity jest aktywna polityka rynku pracy. Niniejsza praca stawia pytanie, czy, a jeśli tak to w jakim zakresie, polskie służby zatrudnienia realizują założenia flrxicurity.
The main objective of this master thesis is to present the concept of flexicurity in a context of a polish public employment services. The name of flexicurity is a portmanteau of flexibility and security, therefore it connects two opposing elements of labour market. One of the main elements of flexicurity is active labour market policy. This thesis tries to find an answer if, and if so, in what extend polish public employment services pursue the flexicurity assumptions.
