Wstęp. Reumatoidalne zapalenie stawów jest jedną z najczęstszych chorób zapalnych stawów. W dużej mierze przyczynia się do inwalidztwa, chorobowości i śmiertelności.Cel pracy. Opracowanie modelu opieki nad pacjentem z reumatoidalnym zapaleniem stawów.Metody. Do opracowania modelu opieki nad chorym z RZS wykorzystano piśmiennictwo oraz założenia teorii D. Orem pod postacią trzech systemów pielęgnowania.Wyniki. Wykorzystując informacje z piśmiennictwa oraz założenia D. Orem stworzono model opieki nad pacjentem z reumatoidalnym zapaleniem stawów.
