Tożsamość Alewitów we współczesnej Turcji: Studium odrodzenie wspólnoty po 1980 roku

ABSTRAKTPrzedmiot moich badań stanowi grupa kulturowo-religijna Alewitów zamieszkujących Turcję. Mimo że badania i dyskusje na temat Alewitów, znanych też jako Alawici Tureccy zaczęły się już po 1980 roku, jest to wciąż zagadnienie w małym stopniu znane poza Turcją. Dlatego jednym z głównych celów moich badań jest omówienie kluczowych informacji na temat tożsamości Alewitów i ich sytuacji we współczesnej Turcji. Z tego powodu prześledzona została historia tej wspólnoty od okres Imperium Osmańskiego. Na tak zarysowanym tle przedstawione zostało przebudzenie kulturowe i polityczne Alewitów, które rozpoczęło się pod koniec lat osiemdziesiątych XX wieku. W tym kontekście omówione zostały też związki przemian tożsamości etnicznej i aktywności politycznej z procesami modernizacji.

ABSTRACTThe Alevi organizations and the movements of Alevism, especially in Turkey and in Europe in recent years, have created the importance and outcome of my research. Alevism and the Alevis are one of the priority agenda topics of Turkey. Although, the studies and discussions about Alevism have started to increase after 1980 (12 September, the coup), researches and examinations in this area are inadequate. Therefore, one of the main reasons for this research is to provide more information about the Alevi identity and its organizations. First of all, defining Alevism necessitated to talk about the identity, its historical terms and traditional religious beliefs. In this respect, the Ottoman and the Republican period were examined in order to understand the political identity and the position of the Alevis in contemporary Turkey much better. Since the late 1980s, the Alevis have expressed their identity claims more visible in public. In this context, emergence of the controversies of ethnic identity with the influence of modernization and identity perception, especially after 1980s, brought about the discussions of Alevi Revival today. Therefore, in this dissertation the cultural and political factors of the Alevi Revival have been evaluated.This thesis also involves in extensive research about the organizations using the method of secondary data analysis. Hence, the effects of multiple Alevi organizations on the Alevi identity are revealed. The last public arena of this Revival is the media. Media has become the new centre of recognition and promotion of the needs of the Alevis. At the same time, the media, especially the internet platforms, is the most up-to-date field of Alevi identity. That is why, in this work, the identity and the representation of the Alevis also tried to be determined by examining the official websites of the organizations.
