Absolute postwar poetry of Gottfried Benn

Tematem niniejszej rozprawy licencjackiej jest poezja absolutna, powstała w okresie powojennym, której autorem jest Gottfried Benn. Wybranymi do analizy przeze mnie utworami, są wiersze pochodzące z tomików: „Wiersze statyczneˮ oraz „Destylacje ˮ. Na wstępie opisuję rolę Autora oraz jego umiejscowienie w niemieckojęzycznej literaturze. Wspominam istotne elementy biograficzne, które mogły mieć wpływ na powstawanie liryki absolutnej należącej do późniejszej fazy twórczości autora. Następnie ukazuję zagadnienia, które w zestawieniu z tematem pracy budują wyraźny kontrast: poezję dialogiczną oraz jednego z jej reprezentantów: Paula Celana. Na zasadzie przeciwieństw podkreślam cechy oraz osobliwy, monologiczny charakter poezji absolutnej. W części analitycznej omawiam wiersze pt „Wierszeˮ, „Tylko dwie rzeczyˮ oraz „Zagubiony jaˮ. Podczas analizy powołuję się na poetologiczny tekst autorski pt. „Problemy lirykiˮ Gottfrieda Benna, który stanowi podstawę części analitycznej niniejszej pracy.

The topic of my bachelor work is absolute poetry of german writer Gottfried Benn created by him in postwar times. I analyse in my work poetry from two volumes of poetry: "Static poems" and "Destillations". At the beginning I describe the role of the author and I try to place him in the german literatur. My goal is to present Gottfried Benn from antoher point of view because in the history of the german literature he is rather known as the representative of expressionism. On the other hand he had stated, that his latest poetry will have no audience at all and that was very untypical in hard postwar times. My work focused this two important aspects. First of all I would like to present the originality of this kind of poetry. Secoundly I would like to present the latest work of Gottfried Benn, which is very valuable in many aspects whan it comes to conducting an literary analysis. In order to present this phenomenon more specifically I mention opposing examples like Paul Celan.

Das Ziel der vorliegenden Bachelorarbeit ist es, die absolute Poesie aufgrund ausgewählter Gedichte Gottfried Benns darzustellen. Die in meiner Arbeit zu analysierenden Gedichte sind in der Nachkriegszeit entstanden und stammen aus dem Gedichtband „Statische Gedichteˮ bzw. aus dem Band „Destillationenˮ. Ich habe dieses Thema aus zwei Gründen gewählt. Einerseits ist Gottfried Benn wegen seines Spätschaffens weniger bekannt als aufgrund des expressionistischen Nachlasses. Andererseits ist, poetologisch gesehen, seine Nachkriegslyrik, prinzipiell auf keinen Adressaten ausgerichtet. Gottfried Benn hat nämlich keinen Empfänger anvisiert und wenn überhaupt, hat ihm eher eine sekundäre Bedeutung zugeschrieben. Meine Arbeit fokussiert zwei wichtige Aspekte. Einerseits habe ich vor, absolute Dichtung an sich selbst zu präsentieren. Andererseits möchte ich auf den Autor und sein Spätwerk aufmerksam machen und die selbst von ihm erschaffene Art der Poesie einer Analyse unterziehen.
