Tematem pracy dyplomowej jest analiza współczesnego designu w kontekście filozofii Shakerów oraz wpływu ich zasad na dzisiejsze wzornictwo użytkowe i architekturę wnętrz. Praca skupia się na zbadaniu wpływu prostoty, funkcjonalności oraz duchowej harmonii, które Shakerzy wprowadzali w proces tworzenia mebli i aranżacji wnętrz. Ważnym aspektem pracy jest również projekt wystawy "Attention Please!", której celem jest edukacja na temat świadomego projektowania wnętrz z uwzględnieniem ergonomii, estetyki i komfortu życia. Zastosowanie koncepcji "interior attention" i "interior inattention" stanowi kluczowy element analizy, uwzględniający związek między wzornictwem a ludzkim samopoczuciem.
The subject of the thesis is an analysis of contemporary design in the context of the Shaker philosophy and the influence of their principles on today's applied design and interior design. The thesis focuses on examining the influence of simplicity, functionality and spiritual harmony that the Shakers brought to the process of creating furniture and interior design. An important aspect of the work is also the design of the “Attention Please!” exhibition, which aims to educate about conscious interior design with ergonomics, aesthetics and living comfort in mind. The application of the concepts of “interior attention” and “interior inattention” is a key part of the analysis, taking into account the relationship between design and human well-being.
