The unfortified area of the archaeological site number 1 in Maszkowice (nowosądecki district) in the light of the analysis of the artifacts gathered in the year 2011.

Praca poświęcona jest analizie materiałów zabytkowych pochodzących ze stanowiska archeologicznego numer 1 w Maszkowicach, powiat nowosądecki. Omawiane zabytki odkryto w wykopie numer 5. Został on założony około 200 metrów na północ od pradziejowego grodziska, znajdującego się na Górze Zyndrama. Analizie poddano ułamki naczyń, polepę, kości zwierzęce i makroszczątki roślinne. Zbadano także przebieg nawarstwień, oraz zasugerowano proces ich powstania.Ujawnione zabytki dowodzą eksploatacji niefortyfikowanej strefy stanowiska, oraz istnienia zabudowy mieszkalnej poza fortyfikowaną strefą stanowiska. Kwestią nierozwiązaną jednak nadal pozostaje dokładne datowanie reliktów odkrytej zagrody.

The subject of this dissertation is the analysis of artifacts discovered at the archaeological site number 1 in Maszkowice (nowosądecki district). The artifacts were unearthed in the trench number 5. It was located roughly 200 meters north from the prahistoric hillfort, located on the Zyndram's Hill.. The analysis were conducted on pottery shards, earthen floor. animal bones and macroremains of plants. The course of the layers was also examined, and the process of their formation was suggested. Disclosed artifacts prove the exploitation of the non-fortified zone of the site and the existence of residential buildings outside the fortified zone of the site. However, the dating of the relics of the houses remains still unresolved.
