Niniejsza praca licencjacka stanowi analizę sztuki teatralnej Nelsona Rodriguesa pt. "Vestido de Noiva", pod kątem krytyki społeczeństwa brazylijskiego. Praca ma na celu ocenę obrazu sytuacji kobiet w Brazylii w pierwszej połowie XX wieku, na przykładzie głównej bohaterki sztuki, Alaíde. Część teoretyczna zarysowuje kontekst historyczny i skupia się na dramaturgii Nelsona Rodriguesa, oraz jego nowatorskim podejściu do twórczości teatralnej, które przyczyniło się do modernizacji teatru brazylijskiego. Część analityczna porusza problem represji społecznych, dotykający kobiety liberalne, które swoim zachowaniem odbiegały od wzorca narzuconego przez tradycjonalistyczne i konserwatywne społeczeństwo brazylijskie.

The following thesis constitutes an analysis of the play by Nelson Rodrigues, entitled "Vestido de Noiva", in terms of criticism of the Brazilian society. The thesis aims to evaluate an image of the situation of women in Brazil in the first half of the 20th century, using the example of the play's main character, Alaíde. The theoretical part outlines the historical context and focuses on the dramaturgy of Nelson Rodrigues and his innovative approach to theatrical creation, which contributed to the modernization of Brazilian theater. The analytical part deals with the issue of social repression, which affects liberal women, whose behavior differed from the pattern imposed by the traditionalist and conservative Brazilian society.

A seguinte tese de licenciatura tem como objetivo uma análise da peça teatral de Nelson Rodrigues intitulada "Vestido de Noiva", em termos de crítica à sociedade brasileira. O presente trabalho visa avaliar a imagem da situação da mulher no Brasil na primeira metade do século XX, analisando o exemplo da personagem principal da peça, Alaíde. A parte teórica demonstra o contexto histórico e apresenta a dramaturgia de Nelson Rodrigues e sua abordagem inovadora da criação teatral, que contribuiu para a modernização do teatro brasileiro. A parte analítica trata da questão da repressão social, que atinge as mulheres liberais, cujo comportamento não se encaixa no padrão imposto pela sociedade tradicionalista e conservadora brasileira.
