Niniejsza praca magisterska nosi tytuł „ Meksykańskie narcocorrido: charakterystyka i ewolucja gatunku w oparciu o utwory Los Tigres del Norte” i bada zjawisko narcocorrido, jednego z odłamów tradycyjnego corrido meksykańskiego. Opisujemy w niej historyczne początki i rozwój tego gatunku muzycznego powstałego w latach trzydziestych ubiegłego wieku, który przetrwał do dzisiaj i dalej cieszy się sławą i uznaniem wśród społeczeństwa meksykańskiego. Praca magisterska jest podzielona na trzy rozdziały: w pierwszym opisujemy historię gatunku corrido, jego strukturę, główną tematykę poruszaną w tekstach i pokazujemy jego miejsce i funkcję szybkiego przekazywania informacji, dzięki której mogliśmy stworzyć kronikę historyczną wydarzeń z czasów Rewolucji Meksykańskiej (1910-1917). Drugi rozdział opowiada o gatunku narcocorrido, jego pochodzeniu, budowie oraz najważniejszych motywach poruszanych w tekstach. Trzeci rozdział jest poświęcony twórczości zespołu Los Tigres del Norte, na przykładzie tekstów którego badamy czy ich utwory kontynuują tradycję narcocorrido, zmiany zachodzące w ich dziełach oraz poruszaną tematykę.

The aim of the thesis "Mexican Narcorridos: genre characteristics and evolution in Los Tigres del Norte drug ballads" is to present history and evolution of one of the subgenres of Mexican Corrido ballad. A Narcocorrido is a musical subgenre, which still remains popular among Mexican society. Its origins date back to the thirties of the 20th century, which is when appeared first thematic texts about illicit substances and people who were engaged in associated illegal activities. The thesis is composed of three chapters. Chapter One is introductory and describes the history of Mexico, beginning from the Porfiriato period, illustrating how corridos were connected to political events. The aim is to present the informative function of the corridos, served to transfer information among citizens, and to create a chronicle of events of the Mexican Revolution (1910-1917).Chapter Two examines the origins of the Narcocorrido, its structure, principal objective and its place in the history of the Mexican drug trafficking. The purpose of this chapter is to show that the new subgenre follows the tradition and refers to important historical events of the 20th century.Chapter Three examines Narcocorridos of Los Tigres del Norte, Mexican band famous from releasing corrido ballads of the drug traffic. In this chapter we will present lyrics of the most important Narcocorridos and we will investigate its structure, content and examine, if they follow the traditional structure of Narcocorridos.

El presente trabajo "Narcocorrido mexicano: característica y evolución del género a base de los corridos de Los Tigres del Norte" está dedicado a la historia y evolución de uno de los subgéneros del corrido mexicano. El narcocorrido es un subgénero musical que sigue siendo altamente popular entre la sociedad mexicana. Sus orígenes se datan a los años treinta del siglo XX cuando aparecieron primeros textos con temática de las sustancias ilícitas y personas que se dedicaban a este negocio. El presente trabajo está dividido en tres partes. En la primera acercamos la historia de México a partir de la época del porfiriato enseñando cómo los corridos acompañaban a los hechos políticos, cómo cumplían su función de transmitir informaciones de forma rápida entre la población y creamos una crónica de los acontecimientos durante la Revolución Mexicana (1910-1917). La segunda se centra en los orígenes del narcocorrido, su estructura, sus motivos principales y su lugar en la historia del narcotráfico mexicano para demostrar que el nuevo subgénero sigue la tradición corridística de reflejar en sus textos los hechos sucedidos a lo largo del siglo XX. La tercera parte está dedicada exclusivamente a los narcocorridos de Los Tigres del Norte, un famoso grupo norteño que compone, entre otros, corridos con temática del narcomundo. En este capítulo presentamos los textos más significativos para la investigación de narcocorridos, hablamos de su estructura y temática y averiguamos si sus creaciones siguen la tradición y evolución de los narcocorridos.
