Bosnia and Herzegovina: issues of the state formation and the establishment of its borders

Bośnia i Hercegowina jest państwem z wyjątkowym systemem organizacji władzy i podziału wewnętrznego, który pod wieloma względami jest najbardziej skomplikowanym w Europie. Praca rozpatrywa szereg zagadnień związanych z państwowością Bośni i Hercegowiny, takich jak historią formowania tego państwa, jego terytorium i tożsamości jego mieszkańców. Szczególny nacisk położono na zbadanie kwestii ustalenia granic Bośni i Hercegowiny, w tym szczegółowy opis sporów granicznych i terytorialnych z państwami sąsiednimi, a także ustalenia podziału wewnętrznego Bośni i Hercegowiny po ogłoszeniu przez to państwo niepodległości. Kwestia reformy konstytucyjnej w Bośni i Hercegowinie także została poddana analizie.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a state with a unique system of organization of state power and administrative division, which in many respects is the most complex in Europe. The thesis examines a number of issues related to the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as the history of the formation of this state, its territory, and the identity of its inhabitants. Particular emphasis was placed on the examination of the question of the establishment of borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including a detailed description of border and territorial disputes with neighbouring countries, as well as the establishment of the system of internal division of Bosnia and Herzegovina after its declaration of independence. The issue of the constitutional reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina was also analysed.
