W niniejszej pracy na podstawie przeglądu dostępnej literatury zebrano informacje na temat warunków hodowli optymalnych dla produkcji prodigiozyny przez bakterie Serratia marcescens oraz sposobów jej ekstrakcji. Poniższa praca zawiera również opis przeprowadzonej ekstrakcji prodigiozyny z liofilizatu z wykorzystaniem sonikacji. W tej pracy zawarto także wyniki badań widm absorpcji i fluorescencji dla roztworów prodigiozyny w metanolu, etanolu, butan-1-olu oraz oktan-1-olu.
In this paper, based on a review of the available literature, information was collected on the optimal culture conditions for the production of prodigiosin by Serratia marcescens bacteria and the methods of its extraction. The following paper also contains a description of the extraction of prodigiosin from the lyophilisate using sonication. This paper also includes the results of studies on the absorption and fluorescence spectra for solutions of prodigiosin in methanol, ethanol, butan-1-ol and octan-1-ol.
