The prospects of agritourism development in Czarny Dunajec commune

Niniejsza praca dotyczy agroturystyki na terenie gminy Czarny Dunajec. Jej celem jest ukazanie perspektyw rozwoju tej formy turystyki na badanym obszarze w oparciu o posiadane walory turystyczne i wyniki badań.Gmina Czarny Dunajec jest bez wątpienia bogatym obszarem pod względem przyrodniczym i kulturowym, a walory, jakie posiada mogą służyć rozwojowi agroturystyki. Właściwe funkcjonowanie gospodarstwa agroturystycznego wymaga, nie tylko spełnienia kryteriów formalnych, ale także odpowiedniej jakości usług. Badania ankietowe przeprowadzone wśród 30 właścicieli kwater oraz 70 turystów odwiedzających gospodarstwa umożliwiły analizę oferty agroturystycznej w gminie oraz porównanie opinii gospodarzy z preferencjami turystów, którzy korzystali z tej formy wypoczynku. Jak pokazują wyniki, gospodarze bardzo pozytywnie oceniają prowadzoną przez siebie działalność, dostrzegają także pewne nieprawidłowości. Również turyści korzystający z oferty agroturystycznej dość dobrze oceniają oferowane usługi. Preferencje gości są w dużej mierze znane gospodarzom kwater.Charakterystyka gminy oraz przeprowadzone autorskie badania ankietowe umożliwiły wykazanie atrakcyjności turystycznej danego obszaru. W oparciu o analizę wyników badań autorka nakreśliła kierunki rozwoju agroturystyki w gminie.W pracy wykorzystano literaturę krajową dotyczącą omawianego zagadnienia dostępną w Bibliotece Jagiellońskiej, bibliotece Wydziału Zarządzania i Komunikacji Społecznej oraz Gminnej Biblioteki Publicznej w Czarnym Dunajcu. Nieodzowną pomocą okazały się materiały udostępnione przez Urząd Gminy Czarny Dunajec oraz Centrum Kultury i Promocji Gminy. Dodatkowym źródłem informacji był Internet.

The following master's thesis concerns agrotourism in the area of Czarny Dunajec commune. The aim of the thesis is to show the prospects of development of this form of tourism on the researched area, on the basis of the touristic values and the findings of the research.Czarny Dunajec commune is undoubtedly an abundant area in respect of its nature and culture, whereas the values possessed by it can benefit in the agrotourism development.A proper functioning of an agrotourism farm involves not only complying with the formal requirements, but also an adequate quality of the services. The survey research carried out among 30 accommodation hosts and 70 tourists visiting the farms, enabled to analyze the district’s tourist offer and to compare the opinions of the hosts with the preferences of the tourists who have availed themselves of the discussed form of rest. According to the findings, the hosts very positively assess the business carried on by them, however, they detect some irregularities. The tourists using the farm tourism also judge the offered services enough well. The farm hosts are to a large degree acquainted with guests’ preferences. The characterization of the district and the conducted author’s survey research allowed to demonstrate tourist attractiveness of the given area. On the basis of the analysis of the research findings the author set the course of the farm development in the commune. One has used in the work the national literature concerning the discussed issue, that was made available in the Jagiellonian Library, the library of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication and the Municipal Public Library in Czarny Dunajec. The materials, that were made available by the Municipal Council of Czarny Dunajec and the Municipal Centre of Culture and Promotion, turned out to be the indispensable help. An additional source of information was the Internet.
