Remains of fortifications in the northern area of the site on Zyndram’s Hill in Maszkowice based on the results from Trench 19 (2021–2023 seasons).

Praca prezentuje wyniki badań wykopaliskowych prowadzonych w latach 2021, 2022 i 2023 w północnej części stanowiska na Górze Zyndrama w Maszkowicach, powiat Nowy Sącz. W ramach studium uwzględniono artefakty ceramiczne, kościane, krzemienne oraz fragmenty polepy, pochodzące z wykopu 19. Analizie poddano również dokumentację stratygraficzną. Wyniki tej przedstawiają chronologię pozyskanych materiałów zabytkowych, przypisanych do starszej lub młodszej fazy osadniczej. Dodatkowo zidentyfikowano wpływy kulturowe oraz przeanalizowano rolę dzikich i udomowionych zwierząt w gospodarce ludzkiej na tym stanowisku. Wyniki badań pogłębiły wiedzę o stanowisku oraz wzbogaciły bazę porównawczą dla analizowanych materiałów zabytkowych.

This study presents the findings from archaeological excavations conducted during the 2021–2023 campaigns in the northern sector of the site on Zyndram’s Hill in Maszkowice, Nowy Sącz County. The research encompasses a detailed analysis of ceramic, bone, and flint artifacts, along with fragments of daub, all excavated from Trench 19. Additionally, the study involved a thorough examination of the stratigraphic documentation. The results provide a chronological framework for the recovered archaeological materials, distinguishing between earlier and later phases of settlement activity. Furthermore, the study identifies significant cultural influences and investigates the role of both wild and domesticated animals within the site's human economy. These findings have substantially enhanced the current understanding of the site and contributed to the expansion of the comparative database for the analyzed archaeological materials.
