The role of family benefits in Poland

Tematem pracy jest rola świadczeń rodzinnych w Polsce. Celem pracy natomiast jest ocena roli tych świadczeń w funkcjonowaniu polskich rodzin. W pierwszym rozdziale omówiona została historia polityki społecznej oraz polityki rodzinnej, a także współczesne działania oraz kierunki rozwoju. Przedstawiono również polityczne uwarunkowania rozwoju polityki rodzinnej na podstawie wyborów parlamentarnych z 2019 roku. W kolejnej części skupiono się na scharakteryzowaniu dostępnych w Polsce świadczeń rodzinnych, a także na roli, jaką powinny spełniać w funkcjonowaniu rodzin. Ostatnia część zawiera terminy niezbędne do zrozumienia procesu badawczego, a także ukazuje temat pracy w świetle przeprowadzonych przez autorkę badań.

The subject of this study is the role of family benefits in Poland. The aim of this document is to assess the role of these benefits in the functioning of Polish families. The first chapter describes the history of social policy and family policy, as well as contemporary activities and development directions. It also presents political conditions concerning family policy development on the basis of the parliamentary election in 2019. The next chapter focuses on characterizing the family benefits available in Poland as well as the role they should play in the functioning of families. The last part contains the terms necessary to understand the research process and it also shows the topic of the study in the light of the research conducted by the author.
