Niniejsza praca ma na celu analizę pojęcia i ukazanie ironii romantycznej w dziele E.T.A. Hoffmanna pod tytułem: ,,Lebensansichten des Katers Murr nebst fragmentarischer Biographie des Kapellmeisters Johannes Kreisler in zufälligen Makulaturblättern". W pierwszym rozdziale teoretycznym została przeprowadzona analiza wyżej wymienionego pojęcia, w celu ustalenia jego pochodzenia, cech i ewentualnych możliwości realizacji. Omówiono pierwotne znaczenie i zastosowanie ironii sokratejskiej i to jak na przestrzeni czasu zmieniła swój charakter. Jako źródło posłużyły tutaj prace naukowe na temat autora, Friedricha Wilhelma Schlegel'a oraz jego własna twórczość: Fragmenty ,,Athenäum“ oraz ,,Lyceum“. Schlegel zrewidował to pojęcie i zaproponował własną interpretację ironii, wynikającą z jego własnych przemyśleń filozoficznych. Dla tej części pracy ważne są powiązane pojęcia i postulaty romantyków, dotyczące formuły pisania dzieł literackich. Omówiona została również problematyka pojęcia, a także wpływ ironii romantycznej na zamysł autora tworzącego dzieło literackie i sposób ukazywania świata przedstawionego. W części praktycznej tej pracy, bazując na wnioskach z części teoretycznej, wybrałem kilka istotnych oznak, świadczących o obecności ironii romantycznej w powieści Hoffmanna. Kolejno zostały omówione: permanenta parabaza, z uwzględnieniem roli narratora, wielowątkowość i skomplikowana struktura tekstu, a także gra przeciwieństw. Bezpośrednio na fragmentach z powieści Hoffmanna próbowałem ukazać i nakreślić charakter elementów powieści, które wynikają z ironii romantycznej i są jej potwierdzeniem w utworze. Wyżej wymienionym indykatorom zostały poświęcone kolejno podrozdziały, które mają na celu zgłębienie tematu i wykazanie związku z ironią romantyczną na różnych etapach utworu. W końcowej części pracy znajdują się wnioski, zebrane w jeden rozdział, które wynikają z badania treści utworu E.T.A. Hoffmanna. Stanowią one podsumowanie całej pracy, zarówno części teoretycznej jak i praktycznej, gdzie pojawiają się reasumujące uwagi i najistotniejsze przemyślenia odnośnie tematu ironii romantycznej w filozofii okresu romantyzmu niemieckiego, a także w ,,Poglądach na życie kota Mruczysława".

This work aims to analyse and depict the concept of the romantic irony in the work of E.T.A. Hoffmann entitled: ,,Lebensansichten des Katers Murr nebst fragmentarischer Biographie des Kapellmeisters Johannes Kreisler in zufälligen Makulaturblättern". In the first theoretical chapter was carried out an analysis of the concept in order to determine its origin, features and possible implementation possibilities. The original meaning and application of Socratic irony were discussed, and how its character changed over time. Research sources on the author Friedrich Wilhelm Schlegel and his own work were used as the research material: Fragments of Athenäum and Lyceum. Schlegel revised this concept and proposed his own interpretation of irony, resulting from his own philosophical reflections. For this part of the work, related concepts and postulates of romantics regarding the formula for writing literary works are important. The issue of the concept was also commented, as well as the influence of romantic irony on the author's idea of ​​creating a literary work and how to present the fictional world. In the practical part of this work, based on the conclusions from the theoretical part, I chose a few important signs that testify to the presence of romantic irony in Hoffmann's novel. The following were discussed: permanent parabase, including the role of the narrator, multitude of plots and the complex structure of the text, as well as the game of opposites. Directly on fragments from Hoffmann's novel, I tried to show and outline the essence of the novel's characteristics that arise from romantic irony and are it's confirmation in the novel. Subsections were devoted to the above-mentioned indicators in order to explore the subject and demonstrate a connection with romantic irony at various stages of the novel. In the final part of the work there are conclusions, gathered in one chapter, which result from the examination of the content of E.T.A. Hoffmann's work. They are a summary of the whole bachelor thesis, both theoretical and practical, where there are recapitulating remarks and the most important reflections on the topic of romantic irony in the philosophy of German Romanticism, the same regarding: ,,The life and opinions of the Tomcat Murr".

Die vorliegende Arbeit setzt sich zum Ziel die Analyse und die Darstellung der romantischen Ironie im Werk von E.T.A. Hoffmann mit dem Titel: ,,Lebensansichten des Katers Murr nebst fragmentarischer Biographie des Kapellmeisters Johannes Kreisler in zufälligen Makulaturblättern" von E.T.A. Hoffmann. Im ersten theoretischen Kapitel wurde die Analyse des oben genannten Begriffs durchgeführt, um die Herkunft, Eigenschaften, und die eventuellen Aufführungsmöglichkeiten zu bestimmen. Sowohl wurde die ursprüngliche Bedeutung, und die Anwendung der sokratischen Ironie besprochen als auch, wie sie ihren Charakter im Laufe der Zeit veränderte. Als Quelle bediente ich mich der wissenschaftlichen Materialien über den Autor, Friedrich Wilhelm Schlegel, und seines eigenen Schaffens: der Fragmente von ,,Athenäum“ und ,,Lyceum“. Schlegel umformte den Begriff der romantischen Ironie, und schlug seine eigene Interpretation vor, die seiner philosophischen Überlegungen entsprang. Für diesen Teil der Arbeit sind die verwandten Begriffe und Postulate der Romantiker von Bedeutung, die die schriftstellerische Konvention betreffen. Auch wurde die Problematik des Begriffs, der Einfluss der romantischen Ironie auf das literarische Konzept eines Autors, und die Weise der Darstellung der literarischen Welt. In dem praktischen Teil der Arbeit, auf den Schlussfolgerungen aus dem theoretischen Teil basierend, entschied ich mich für ein paar wesentlichen Anzeichen, die die Präsenz der romantischen Ironie im Roman von Hoffmann beweisen. Der Reihe nach wurden: die permanente Parabase, unter Einbeziehung der Rolle des Erzählers, die Mehrsträngigkeit, und die kompliziete Struktur des Textes, das Spiel der Gegensätze. Unmittelbar mithilfe der Passagen aus dem Roman von Hoffmann versuchte ich die charakteristischen Elemente für die romantische Ironie zu schildern, und anhand des Werks zu bestätigen. Den oben erwähnten Indikatoren wurden die folgenden Unterkapitel gewidmet, die das Thema vertiefen sollten, und die die Verbindung mit der romantischen Ironie auf den mehreren Niveaus des Werks beweisen sollten. Im letzten Teil der Arbeit sind die Schlussfolgerungen zu finden, die das Resümee der ganzen Bachelorarbeit sind, sowohl des theoretischen als auch des praktischen Teils, wo die zusammenfassenden Bemerkungen, und die wichtigsten Überlegungen bezüglich des Themas der romantischen Ironie in der Philosophie der Epoche von Romantik, und in ,,Lebensansichten des Katers Murr" vorkommen.
