Nursing model of child care after hydronephrosis surgery.

Wady układu moczowego należą do często spotykanych zaburzeń u dzieci. Jedną z nich jest wodonercze, które wymaga interwencji chirurgicznej. W pracy tej opisano budowę anatomiczną układu moczowego oraz charakterystykę wodonercza. Przedstawiano sposób leczenia oraz możliwości wystąpienia powikłań. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono założenia teorii pielęgnowania według Dorothei Orem i opracowano model pielęgnacyjny nad dzieckiem zarówno przed jak i po zabiegu operacyjnym. Wyłowiono najważniejsze problemy zdrowotne, pielęgnacyjne oraz postępowania .

hydronephrosis is one of the most common of the urinary system defects, that needs surgical treatment. This paper contains the information about the anatomy of the urinary system and clinical characteristics of the hydronephrosis. This document gathers the data about the procedures that should be taken by the hospital personnel during the treatment, and about possible post-operative complications. The ideas of Dorothea Orem’s care theory which were used in order to create nursing model that should be applied before and after the surgery of the child were also shown. The most crucial health and nursing problems were also pointed-out.
