Praca „Przekleństwo nieśmiertelności. Analiza figury wampira w filmie Zagadka nieśmiertelności” zawiera omówienie mitu wampirycznego w kulturze i sztuce, przedstawienie genezy tegoż mitu w świecie antycznym i w czasach nowożytnych oraz analizę ikonicznych motywów wampirycznych. W pracy przedstawiony zostaje również przegląd najważniejszych motywów wampirycznych w kinie. Obszerną część pracy zajmuje analiza figury wampira w filmie Zagadka nieśmiertelności Tony’ego Scotta oraz omówienie realizacji archetypu cienia na przykładzie mitu wampira, jako jednego z najchętniej wykorzystywanych mitów współczesności.
The curse of immortality. An analysis of the vampire's figure in the movie “The Hunger” (1983) includes a discussion of the vampire myth in culture and art, the origins of this myth in the ancient and modern world and the analysis of iconic vampire motifs. The work also presents an overview of the most important vampire motifs in the cinema. Part of the work involves an analysis of the vampire figure in Tony Scott's “The Huner” and discussion on the shadow archetype's implementation of the myth of vampire as one of the most widely used myths of the time.
