The impact of the digitization process on the labor market in Poland

Praca podejmuje problematykę z zakresu wpływu procesu cyfryzacji na rynek pracy w Polsce. Rynek pracy i zagadnienia z nim związane zostały przedstawione na tle przenikającego gospodarkę procesu cyfryzacji. W pracy wykorzystano metodę analizy i krytyki piśmiennictwa w celu ukazania wpływu, jaki postęp technologiczny wywiera na sytuację na polskim rynku pracy. Poruszono również tematykę przyczyn bezrobocia i skutków tego zjawiska. Przedstawiono proces ewolucji cyfryzacji oraz zwrócono uwagę na formy zastosowania technologii cyfrowych w przedsiębiorstwach, uwzględniając przy tym szanse i zagrożenia z tego płynące. Opracowanie zakończone jest analizą wyników badania empirycznego w formie ankiety społecznej.

The Master’s thesis concerns the impact of the digitization process on the labor market in Poland. The labor market and related issues are presented the backdrop of the digitization process permeating the economy. The study uses the method of analysis and criticism of the literature in order to show the impact of technological progress on the situation on the Polish labor market. The causes of unemployment and its effects were also discussed. The process of digitization evolution was presented and attention was paid to the forms of using digital technologies by enterprises, taking into account the opportunities and threats resulting from it. The study ends with an empirical study in the form of a social survey.
