Literary output of Fyodor Dostoyevsky before a penal servitude (1841-1849)

Niniejsza praca miała za zadanie analizę i interpretację twórczości literackiej Fiodora Dostojewskiego przed katorgą. W pracy została szczegółowo opisana droga młodego pisarza do dojrzewania myśli przewodniej w jego powieściach. We wczesnym okresie twórczości pisarza wyróżniliśmy trzy linie konstruowania bohatera: biednego człowieka, sobowtóra oraz marzyciela. Dostojewski w nowatorski sposób zagłębia się w strukturę ludzkiej świadomości, analizuje te sprzeczności psychiki człowieka, które utrudniają jednoczenie się ludzi oraz zniekształcają ich moralną istotę. W powieściach rozpatrywany jest los jednostki oraz te tragiczne skutki socjalnego systemu, które degradują i wpływają na psychikę człowieka. Bohater w każdej kolejnej powieści Dostojewskiego prezentuje wyższy stopień złożoności jednostki ludzkiej. Ta ewolucja miała znamionować przejście do dojrzałego etapu twórczości pisarza.

This study had a task of analising and interpreting literary output of Fyodor Dostoyevsky before a penal sevitude. In this research a young writer’s road to present his ideas in the novels is described in details. In the early stage of the writer's work I distinguished three lines of constructing a hero: a poor man, a double and a dreamer. Dostoyevsky, in a novel way delves into the structure of a human consciousness, analyzes these contradictions of the human psyche that make it difficult to unite the people and distort their moral essence. In the novels is considered the fate of the individual and the tragic consequences of the social system, which degrade and affect the human psyche. In each subsequent novel of Dostoevsky a hero presents a higher degree of complexity of the human individual. This evolution was to characterize the transition to a mature stage of the writer’s works.
