E-recepty są kluczowym elementem systemu informatycznego dla cyfrowego rozwoju publicznego systemu opieki zdrowotnej w Polsce. Proces powstania tego systemu informatycznego był długi. Z dniem 8 stycznia 2020 roku obieg recept w formie elektronicznej stał się obowiązkowy. Pandemia, wywołana koronawirusem SARS-CoV-2, zmusiła placówki medyczne do zdalnego realizowania części swoich zadań. Stan pandemii to także test na działanie systemu e-recept. Na przykładzie tego systemu informatycznego zostanie przedstawiony proces cyfryzacji publicznego systemu ochrony zdrowia w Polsce. Czym jest e-recepta i w jaki sposób działa? Jak e-recepta powiązana jest z innymi systemami informatycznymi w ramach administracji państwowej? Jaka jest rola poszczególnych aktorów ochrony zdrowia wykorzystujących ten system? Jak ten system informatyczny wspiera realizacje zadań polityki zdrowotnej w czasie pandemii? Dzięki odpowiedzi na te pytania możliwe będzie wskazanie znaczenia e-recepty w funkcjonowaniu publicznego systemu ochrony zdrowia w Polsce.

Electronic prescribing - case of digitization in the public healthcare system in Poland One of the IT systems that are key to the development of the digital public healthcare system in Poland are electronic prescriptions (e-prescription). The process of creating this IT system was lengthy, but as of January 8, 2020, an electronic prescription has become mandatory. SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic forced medical facilities to perform part of their tasks remotely. Pandemic is also a test for the e-prescription system. The example of this IT system will present the process of digitization of the public health care system in Poland. What is an e-prescription and how does it work? How is the e-prescription related to other IT systems in public administration? What is the role of individual healthcare actors who use this system? How does this IT system support the implementation of health policy tasks during a pandemic? Thanks to this, it will be possible to indicate the importance of e-prescriptions in the functioning of the public health care system in Poland and in the process of its digitization.
