Effectiveness of educating female leaders in the field of Public Management of the Institute of Public Affairs of the Jagiellonian University

Praca „Skuteczność kształcenia liderek na kierunku Zarządzanie Publiczne Instytutu Spraw Publicznych Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego” dotyczy stopnia z jakim Uniwersytet Jagielloński w Krakowie realizuje efekty kształcenia na kierunku Zarządzanie Publiczne. Część teoretyczna pracy obejmuje zagadnienia dotyczące współczesnych liderek, czyli ewolucję roli kobiety – od XIX-wiecznej „Pani domu” aż po współczesną szefową (geneza współczesnych liderek), cechy wyróżniające przywódczynie na tle innych person oraz trudności, z którymi zmagają się liderki w swojej pracy zawodowej. W części teoretycznej autorka pracy opisuje także program oraz efekty kształcenia na kierunki Zarządzanie Publiczne, zwraca uwagę nie tylko na formalny obszar, ale także przedstawia ofertę poza formalnego kształcenia na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim. Część badawcza dotyczy prowadzonych badań, autorka opisuje metody, których użyła, a także prezentuje ich wyniki.

The work "Effectiveness of educating female leaders in the field of Public Management of the Institute of Public Affairs of the Jagiellonian University" concerns the degree with which the Jagiellonian University in Crakow realizes the results of education in the field of Public Management. The theoretical part of the work covers issues related to contemporary leaders, i.e. the evolution of the role of a woman - from the nineteenth-century "housewife" to the contemporary boss (the genesis of modern female leaders), the features that distinguish female leaders from other personalities and the difficulties faced by leaders in their work professional. In the theoretical part, the author of the work also describes the program and learning outcomes for the faculties of Public Management, not only points to the formal area, but also presents the offer of non-formal education at the Jagiellonian University. The research part concerns the conducted research, the author describes the methods she used and presents their results.
