Specyficity caring by young adult with neutropenia in case of chemotherapy- study case

Wstęp: Neutropenia stanowi poważny problem wśród osób cierpiących na choroby nowotworowe. Może występować zarówno w przebiegu choroby podstawowej jaki i stanowić powikłanie leczenia- chemioterapii. Kryterium rozpoznania stanowią wyniki badań krwi. Występowanie neutropenii jest poważnym problemem w tej grupie chorych, gdyż może wpłynąć na występowanie zakażeń, zmniejszenie dawek cytostatyków, pogorszenie wyników leczenia, wpłynąć ujemnie na jakość życia chorego oraz doprowadzić do jego śmierci. Celem pracy było rozpoznanie problemów zdrowotnych młodych dorosły z neutropenią w przebiegu chemioterapii oraz zaplanowanie indywidualnej opieki nad pacjentka z mięsakiem Ewinga cierpiącą na neutropenię w przebiegu leczenia chemioterapeutykami. Materiał i metody: Praca ma charakter kazuistyczny, przygotowana w oparciu o metodę studium przypadku oraz metodę analizy piśmiennictwa. Wyniki: Problemy zdrowotne, które wystąpiły u chorej z mięsakiem Ewinga opierały się na wymiarze fizykalnym, psychicznym oraz społecznym. Uwzględniały głównie zmiany w zakresie funkcjonowania układu pokarmowego, krwionośnego oraz funkcjonowania i wypełniania ról społecznychWnioski: Studium przypadku pozwoliło na opracowanie indywidualnego procesu pielęgnowania z uwzględnieniem sytuacji zdrowotnej pacjenta.

Introduction: Neutropenia is a serious problem among people suffering from oncological diseases. It might come out both in the process of a primary disease and as the complication of a treatment- chemotherapy. The criteria of the diagnosis is blood test results. The occurrence of neutropenia is a serious problem in this patients’ group because it might induce the occurrence of infections, reduce doses of cytostatic treatment and deteriorate treatment's results. Moreover, it may also have a negative implication on the quality of patients’ lives and even lead to death.Aim: The object of this work is determining health problems amid young adults with neutropenia in the course of chemotherapy and planning individual medical care with patient with Ewing's sarcoma suffered from neutropenia during cytostatic treatment.Materials and methods: this work has a casuistic character. It is based on the method of a study case and academic literature.Results: health problems which appeared in the case of the patient with Ewing's sarcoma were based on physical, psychological and social dimensions. They mainly considered changes in the scope of functioning of digestive system, blood circulating system, also functioning and dealing with social roles.Conclusion: the study case allowed to work out individual caring process taking under consideration the patient's health situation.
