Tourism and recreational development of Nowa Huta

Rozwijający się w Nowej Hucie ruch turystyczny wymaga ukierunkowania działań związanych z zapleczem turystycznym. Celem pracy była analiza i ocena stanu istniejącej infrastruktury turystycznej. W pierwszym rozdziale opisany został obszar badań oraz uwarunkowania historyczne, mające wpływ na obecny kształt dzielnicy. Drugi rozdział zawiera podstawowe pojęcia i definicje. W następnym rozdziale wymieniono i pokrótce opisano walory turystyczne z podziałem na przyrodnicze i antropogeniczne. Rozdział czwarty zawiera dane zebrane podczas inwentaryzacji bazy noclegowej, gastronomicznej, komunikacyjnej i towarzyszącej oraz analizę SWOT zebranych danych. Następny rozdział zawiera informacje dotyczące form turystyki realizowanych na miejscu przez przyjezdnych oraz form możliwych do realizacji. Opisuje charakter ruchu turystycznego w dzielnicy i perspektywy jego rozwoju. Wyniki badań zawarte w niniejszej pracy powinny być przydatne dla tworzenia strategii rozwoju turystyki w Nowej Hucie.

Developing tourist traffic in Nowa Huta requires actions according to tourist facilities. The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate the condition of the existing tourism infrastructure. The first chapter describes the area of research and historical factors that had an influence on the current shape of the district. The second chapter presents the basic concepts and definitions. Further chapters list and briefly describe the tourist attractions divided into natural and anthropogenic, present data collected during the cataloguing of the accommodation, catering, transport and accompanying. This part also presents SWOT analysis of the collected data as well as information about types of tourism performed in Nowa Huta by visitors and forms that can be implemented. It describes the nature of tourism in the area and prospects of its development. The results presented in this study should be useful for developing tourism in Nowa Huta.
