The strategies of funding enterprise’s activity

The main purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to present the strategies of funding enterprise’s activity and their influence on financial results. The conducted research has shown that usage of specific strategy is connected to plenty of unique consequences for companies. This thesis contains tools, methods, targets and principles necessary to plan, formulate and efficiently exploit the chosen strategy. The companies’ problem of acquiring the equity necessary for operation has been brought up, particularly aiming at potential internal and external sources of funding. The influence and results of the usage of those methods were also described. Basing on the example of the Azoty Tarnów company, this thesis evaluates sources of equity, funding strategy and financial standing achieved by the company in years 2009-2010. The literature used to construct the following bachelor’s thesis includes the large scope of issues related to the strategies of funding, obtaining the equity, sources of the capital and financial analysis.

Podstawowym celem pracy jest przedstawienie strategii finansowania działalności gospodarczej oraz ich wpływu na osiągane wyniki. W toku badawczym wykazano, iż zastosowanie konkretnej strategii wiąże się z zespołem określonych dla przedsiębiorstwa rezultatów. Przeanalizowano narzędzia, metody, cele oraz zasady, które są niezbędne do planowania, formułowania oraz efektywnego wykorzystania strategii finansowania w przedsiębiorstwie. Poruszony został problem pozyskiwania przez przedsiębiorstwa niezbędnego do funkcjonowania kapitału, ze szczególnym nakierowaniem na potencjalne wewnętrzne i zewnętrzne źródła finansowania. Określono także wpływ oraz skutki wynikające z ich wykorzystania. Na przykładzie strategii finansowania wykorzystanej w latach 2009-10 przez Zakłady Azotowe S.A. w Tarnowie-Mościcach, ocenie zostały poddane źródła finansowania działalności, kondycja spółki oraz wyniki finansowe będące skutkiem jej stosowania. W konstruowaniu pracy został wykorzystany szeroki zakres literatury związanej z zagadnieniami: strategii finansowania, pozyskiwania kapitału, źródeł finansowania oraz analizy finansowej.
