The level of fulfilling the needs through social organizations operating in the Commune of Jerzmanowice – Przeginia

„Poziom zaspokojenia potrzeb społecznych przez instytucje działające na obszarze Gminy Jerzmanowice – Przeginia”.Celem prezentowanej pracy była próba określenia poziomu działań instytucji o charakterze społecznym z terenu Gminy Jerzmanowice – Przeginia. Założony problem badawczy miał zanalizować w jakim stopniu działania powyższych organizacji wychodzą naprzeciw potrzebom mieszkańców. Przeprowadzone przez autorkę badania dały odpowiedzi na szereg pytań odnoszących się do: a) zakresu monitorowania aktualnych potrzeb lokalnego społeczeństwa; b) wiedzy mieszkańców o istnieniu i działalności istniejących na obszarach ich gminy instytucji; c) poziomu zaspokajania potrzeb mieszkańców przez organizacje społeczne. Badania przeprowadzone na podstawie analiz informacji zebranych za pomocą wywiadów i obserwacji zaprezentowały zarówno opinie samych mieszkańców, jak również osób – liderów zaangażowanych w funkcjonowanie instytucji społecznych. Wynikiem przeprowadzonych procesów badawczych było obalenie przyjętej przez autorkę głównej hipotezy opowiadającej się za sytuacją, w której potrzeby mieszkańców Gminy Jerzmanowice–Przeginia są w pełni uzupełniane przez placówki społeczne działające na jej terenie. Badania przeprowadzone przez autorkę wykazały jednak, że postawiona hipoteza okazała się daleka od prawdy. Według części opiniodawców działalność instytucji społecznych z terenu interesującej nas gminy nie spełnia obszaru oczekiwań społecznych oraz wymaga poprawy.

“The level of fulfilling the needs through social organizations operating in the Commune of Jerzmanowice – Przeginia”The aim of this dissertation was to determine the level of activity of social institutions from the municipal area of Jerzmanowice - Przeginia. Established research problem was to analyze the extent to which measures taken by foregoing administrative units meet the needs of the inhabitants of this area. Research conducted by the author gave answers to various questions relating to: a) monitoring of the actual needs of the local population, b) awareness of people about the existence and activities of the existing community institutions, c) the level of fulfilling the needs of residents through community organizations. A study based on the analysis of information gathered through interviews and observations presented both opinions of the inhabitants, as well as the community leaders involved in functioning of these social institutions. Research process resulted in the overthrow of the main hypothesis in favor of a situation where the needs of the inhabitants of the Commune Jerzmanowice-Przeginia are fully complemented by social institutions operating in its territory. Research conducted by the author showed, however, that the hypothesis proved to be far from the truth. According to the interviewees the activities and contributions of social institutions from the area of interest do not meet the area of social expectations and need improvement.
