Niniejsza rozprawa porusza kwestię humanizmu w literaturze Antoine'a de Saint-Exupéry'ego. Nocny lot, wydany w 1931 roku, został wybrany jako główny punkt odniesienia w tej analizie. Praca jest próbą pokazania głównej myśli ukazanej w tej książce tj. człowiek tak na prawdę znaczy coś dla ludzkości dopiero poprzez konsekwencje swoich czynów. Dzieło stanowi odpowiedź na kryzys wartości moralnych po Pierwszej Wojnie Światowej. Praca składa się z trzech głównych rozdziałów. Pierwszy pokazuje jak zmiana gatunku literackiego ma wpływ na wyrażenie przekonań pisarza. Drugi rozdział przedstawia jak został ukazany humanizm heroiczny w działaniu dwóch głównych bohaterów książki: Fabien i Rivière. Trzeci rozdział dotyka natomiast problemu nadczłowieka i stawia pytanie o niejaki wpływ filozofii Nietzschego na to dzieło.

The thesis touches the question of humanism in the works of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Night Flight was published in 1931 and it is chosen as the main point of reference in this analysis. This thesis is an attempt to show the key idea presented in this book i.e. human being becomes important for the humanity thanks to the consequences of its acts. This work is an answer to the crisis after the end of the World War I. The whole thesis consists of three main chapters. The first chapter shows how the change of the literary genre influences the way in which the author tries to express his opinion. The second one presents how the heroic humanism was shown in the behavior of the two main characters: Fabien and Rivière. The last part touches the problem of the superman and poses the question of Nietzsche’s influence over this work.

Le présent mémoire soulève la question de l’humanisme dans la littérature d’Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Vol de nuit, publié en 1931, est choisi en tant que point de référence principal dans cette analyse. Ce travail, c’est un essai de présenter la pensée principale dans ce livre : l’homme ajoute les valeurs à l’humanité par les conséquences de son action. L’œuvre constitue une réponse à la crise morale après la Grande Guerre. Le mémoire se compose de trois chapitres principaux. Le premier montre comment le genre littéraire progressivement changé par l’écrivain aide mieux d’exprimer ses idées. Le deuxième chapitre présente l’humanisme héroïque révélé par les actes de deux héros principaux : Fabien et Rivière. Le troisième chapitre touche le problème de surhomme et pose une question de l’influence de Nietzsche.
