Praca magisterska porusza temat tłumaczenia języka gejów na przykładzie powieści „Linia Piękna” napisanej przez Alana Hollinghursta. Wyjaśnia również kontekst języka gejów w języku angielskim, hiszpańskim i polskim. Celem pracy jest obserwacja technik używanych przez tłumacza i analiza zmian, które zaszły w tłumaczeniu względem dzieła oryginalnego.
The thesis presents the subject of the translation of gayspeak in the case of “The Line of Beauty” written by Alan Hollinghurst. The thesis approaches the explanation of the context of gayspeak in English, Spanish and Polish. The aim of the thesis is to observe the techniques applied by the translator and to explore how the translation changed the original.
