Libertarianism in United States

Praca ma na celu przybliżenie korzeni amerykańskiej myśli libertariańskiej, jak i jej założeń i wpływu na współczesność. Libertarianizm jest ideologią radykalną, jednakże interesującą i w znacznym stopniu różniącą się od obecnego głównego nurtu polityki i filozofii. Libertarianizm cieszy się również w Stanach Zjednoczonych, stosunkowo wielką, niespotykaną nigdzie indziej popularnością i wpływem. Głównym celem pracy będzie ukazanie, że początki libertarianizmu wywodzą się dokładnie z tego samego miejsca, co korzenie Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki, a Wojna o Niepodległość była równocześnie pierwszą w historii prawdziwie libertariańską rewolucją, a idee jej przyświecające odgrywają niebagatelny wpływ na życie Amerykanów również i dziś.

The aim of the thesis is to clarify roots of the american libertarian thought, it's principles, and it's influence on contemporary times. Libertarianism is a radical ideology, it is also however an interesting one, that is drastically different from the mainstream of American politics and philosophy. Libertarianism enjoys relatively enormous popularity in the United States, a phenomenon, that is not present anywhere else in the modern world. Main goal of this thesisis to show, that beginnings of libertarianism stem from the same source, as do the roots the founding of the United States of America itself, and American Revolutionary War was, at the same time, also a first trully libertarian revolution in itself, which ideas still hold great value of lives of American, even to this day.
