Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej było zbadanie związku pomiędzy poszczególnymi wymiarami zaburzenia osobowości borderline a doświadczeniami quasi-psychotycznymi u osób z diagnozą borderline personality disorder (BPD).
The aim of this master's thesis was to examine the relationship between specific dimensions of borderline personality disorder and quasi-psychotic experiences in individuals diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD). This issue is important from both a theoretical and clinical perspective, as identity instability, unstable relationships, and transient psychotic symptoms are key features of the clinical picture of BPD, and their co-occurrence may increase the risk of mental crises and hospitalization. The study was conducted on a group of 76 people, including 57 patients diagnosed with BPD. Questionnaires assessing the severity of individual diagnostic criteria for BPD and quasi-psychotic tendencies were used: the BPD Checklist and the PDI-21. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS software. The results indicated that there is a positive correlation between quasi-psychotic symptoms and identity disorders and instability in interpersonal relationships in people diagnosed with BPD. The conclusions of the study suggest that identity disorders may act as a factor of susceptibility to psychotic symptoms in people with BPD. These results emphasize the importance of taking into account the dimension of identity and instability of interpersonal relationships in the diagnosis and treatment of borderline personality disorder, and indicate the need for further research on the mechanisms linking these areas of psychopathology.
