Tematem pracy jest code-switching hiszpański-keczua w dziele José María Arguedas „Los Ríos Profundos”. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiamy historyczną panoramę począwszy od czasu podboju Nowego Świata oraz podajemy dane statystyczne dotyczące języka keczua w Peru. W drugim rozdziale przedstawiamy ramy teoretyczne dotyczące języka hiszpańskiego w Peru, podkreślając jego podział i opisując poszczególne jego cechy. W rozdziale trzecim skupimy się na zjawiskach wynikających z kontaktu między językami, skupiając się na teoretycznych podstawach przełączania kodów, jego motywacjach i funkcjach. W ostatniej części pracy przeprowadzamy analizę na podstawie powieści wspomnianego autora, mając na celu badanie funkcji, jakie pełnią przedstawione w książce zastosowania code-switching hiszpański-keczua.

The topic of the study is the analysis of the code-switching in the Spanish-Quechua in the work of José María Arguedas "Los Ríos Profundos". In the first chapter we present the historical panorama beginning with the time of the conquest of the New World and we provide statistical data on Quechua in Peru. In the second chapter we present the theoretical framework related to Spanish in Peru, highlighting its division and describing its respective characteristics. In chapter three we focus on the phenomena resulting from contact between languages, focusing on the theoretical basis of code-switching, its motivations and functions. In the last part of the work, we carry out an investigation based on the novel by the author, with the aim of analysing the functions performed by the Spanish-Quechua code-switching uses presented in the book.

El estudio trata el tema del cambio de código español-quechua en la obra de José María Arguedas “Los Ríos Profundos”. En el primer capítulo presentamos el panorama histórico empezando por la época de la conquista del Nuevo Mundo y aportamos los datos estadísticos del quechua en el Perú. En el segundo capítulo exponemos el marco teórico relacionado con el español en el Perú, destacando su división y describiendo sus respectivas características. En el capítulo tres nos centramos en los fenómenos resultantes por el contacto entre las lenguas, enfocándonos en la base teórica del code-switching, sus motivaciones y funciones. En la última parte del trabajo, llevamos a cabo una investigación basada en la novela de dicho autor, con el objetivo de analizar las funciones que desempeñan los usos de cambio de código español-quechua presentados en el libro.
