Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie występowania obecności elementów charakterystycznych dla voyeuryzmu medialnego oraz porównanie polskiej i ukraińskiej edycji telewizyjnego reality show „Top Model” 2018. Praca składa się ze wstępu i podsumowania oraz pięciu rozdziałów merytorycznych. W pierwszym rozdziale opisuję aktualny stan badań nad reality show i voyeuryzmem medialnym. Powołuję się na polskich, ukraińskich oraz zagranicznych autorów. W rozdziale drugim przedstawiłam metodę badawczą oraz krótko omawiam wady i zalety metody analizy zawartości. Rozdział trzeci poświęcony jest ważnym terminom związanym z reality show i jego historią. Tu omawiam powstanie tego gatunku na świecie oraz pojawienie się na Ukrainie i w Polsce. Opisałam także zjawisko, które jest powiązane z reality show ‒ voyeuryzm medialny. Rozdział czwarty poświęciłam charakterystyce talent show. W rozdziale piątym przedstawiłam badania nad programem „Top Model po ukraińsku” i nad polskim „Top Model”.
The object of this thesis is to examine the presence of elements characteristic for media voyeurism and to compare Polish and Ukrainian television reality show „Top Model" 2018. The thesis contains: introduction, summary and five chapters. In the first chapter I describe the current state of research on reality shows and media voyeurism. I refer to Polish, Ukrainian and foreign authors. In the second chapter I present the research method and briefly discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the content analysis method. The third chapter is devoted to important terms related to reality shows and its history. Here I describe the creation of this genre in the world and the appearance in Ukrainian and Polish television. I also describe a phenomenon that is associated with a reality show - media voyeurism. Chapter four is dedicated to the characteristics of the talent show. In the fifth chapter I presented research on the „Top Model po ukrainsku" and on the Polish „Top Model".
