The image of the woman in "Like Water For Chocolate" and "Oficio de Tinieblas" - two Mexican novels of the time of the revolution

Moja praca składa się ze wstępu, trzech rozdziałów i zakończenia. W pierwszym rozdziale wyjaśniam zjawisko feminizmu. W drugim przedstawiam sytuację społeczną w Meksyku w XX wieku. W trzeciej części opisuję kobiece postacie z obu powieści, wyszczególniając różnice między nimi. Podsumowując, przedstawiam, co smnie zaskoczyło po dokonaniu tego porównania i próbuję wyjaśnić przyczyny tych różnic.

My work consists of the introduction, three chapters and the ending. In the first chapter, I explain the phenomenon of feminism. In the second, I detail the social situation in Mexico to late twentieth century. In the third section, I describe the female characters of both novels, detailing the differences between them. To conclude, I present what has surprised after having made this comparison and try to explain the reason for these differences.

Mi trabajo consta de la introducción, tres capítulos y el final. En el primer capítulo, explico el fenómeno del feminismo. En el segundo, detallo la situación social en México a finales del siglo XX. En el tercer apartado, describo los personajes femeninos de ambas novelas, detallando las diferencias entre unos y otros. Para finalizar, presento lo que me ha sorprendido después de haber hecho esta comparación e intento explicar cuál puede ser la razón de estas diferencias.
