Immigration and crime in Sweden 2010-2022

Niniejsza praca ma na celu zbadanie potencjalnych związków lub korelacji imigracji ze zmianami w strukturze i poziomie przestępczości w Królestwie Szwecji w latach 2010-2022. W pracy scharakteryzowano historię imigracji do Szwecji oraz jej politykę wobec imigrantów. W dalszej części przeanalizowano charakter imigracji do Szwecji w badanym okresie pod kątem pochodzenia imigrantów. Następnie poddano analizie dane dotyczące przestępstw i poszczególnych ich rodzajów a wyniki analizy zestawiono z liczbą imigrantów w poszczególnych latach. Podjęto również próbę zbadania skali przestępczości wśród imigrantów w analizowanym okresie.

This work aims to investigate potential relationships or correlations of immigration with changes in the structure and level of crime in the Kingdom of Sweden in the years 2010-2022. The work characterizes the history of immigration to Sweden and its policy towards immigrants. Next, the nature of immigration to Sweden in the examined period was analyzed in terms of the origin of the immigrants. Then, data on crimes and their individual types were analyzed and the analysis results were compared with the number of immigrants in particular years. An attempt was also made to examine the scale of crime among immigrants in the analyzed period.
