Research on the preferences and opinions of cosmetologists on anti-cellulite treatments performed in beauty salons.

Cel pracy: Celem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej było zbadanie preferencji i opinii kosmetologów na temat zabiegów antycellulitowych stosowanych w gabinetach kosmetycznych. Materiał i metody: Badanie polegało na przeprowadzeniu anonimowej ankiety. Kwestionariusz zawierał 20 pytań. W badaniu wzięło udział 150 osób w różnym wieku (mediana 24 lata). Były to osoby pracujące w gabinetach kosmetologicznych, w których wykonywane są zabiegi antycellulitowe na ciało. Wyniki: Najliczniejszą grupę stanowiły osoby z pełnym wykształceniem kosmetologicznym (42,6%). 100% ankietowanych uznało zabiegi antycellulitowe za skuteczne. W opinii kosmetologów 45% klientów korzystających z zabiegów antycellulitowych ma nadwagę, a 20,5% boryka się z otyłością. Jako najczęstsze zabiegi antycellulitowe respondenci wymieniali masaż podciśnieniowy (10,7%) i endermologię (9,3%). 57,3% respondentów wskazało, że ich klienci najczęściej chcą pozbyć się cellulitu z ud, a preferowanym zabiegiem przez kosmetologów jest endermologia (16,1%). 37,3% klientów zadeklarowało, że są zadowoleni z wyboru i skuteczności endermologii jako zabiegu antycellulitowego.Wnioski: Kosmetolodzy uważają zabiegi antycellulitowe za skuteczne. Kosmetolodzy wykonujący zabiegi antycellulitowe uważają, że cellulit dotyka zarówno osób z nadwagą, jak i tych z prawidłową masą ciała. Najczęstszym zabiegiem antycellulitowym wybieranym przez kosmetologów jest endermologia.

The aim of the study: The purpose of this thesis was to study the preferences and opinions of cosmetologists on anti-cellulite treatments used in beauty salons. Material and methods: The survey consisted of an anonymous questionnaire. The questionnaire contained 20 questions. 150 people of various ages (median 24 years) took part in the survey. They were people working in cosmetology salons where anti-cellulite body treatments are performed. Results: Most of the respondents are people with full cosmetology education (42.6%). 100% of respondents consider anti-cellulite treatments to be effective. According to cosmetologists, 45% of clients who use anti-cellulite treatments are overweight, and 20.5% are overweight. The most common anti-cellulite treatments performed in beauty salons are vacuum massage (10.7%) and endermologie (9.3%). 57.3% of respondents indicated that their clients most often want to get rid of cellulite from their thighs, and the preferred treatment by cosmetologists is endermology (16.1%). 37.3% of customers are satisfied with the choice and effectiveness of endermology as an anti-cellulite treatment.Conclusions: Cosmetologists consider anti-cellulite treatments to be effective. Cosmetologists who perform anti-cellulite treatments believe that cellulite affects both overweight people and those with a healthy body weight. The most common anti-cellulite treatment chosen by cosmetologists is endermology.
