Niniejsza praca magisterka jest ujęciem monograficznym poświęconym hełmowi i koronie z Sandomierza, przechowywanym obecnie w Muzeum Katedralnym na Wawelu. Te obiekty zostały odnalezione w 1910 r. w pobliżu dawnego klasztoru Benedyktynek w Sandomierzu. Pochodzą z XIV w. Zadaniem tej pracy jest ukazanie znaleziska sandomierskiego na szerszym historycznym i artystycznym tle.

Abstract in English

This Master's Thesis is a monograph devoted to the helmet and the crown of Sandomierz stored in the John Paul II Cathedral Museum in Cracow. These objects were found in 1910 near the old Benedictine Monastery in Sandomierz. They were forged probably in the 14th century. In this study the helmet and the crown are compared with other pieces of art and located in the historical and iconographical background.
