Symposium "Facets of transfer" viewed through the prism of affordances

"Oblicza transferu" (OT) to sympozjum naukowo-wdrożeniowe organizowane od 2019 roku przez Instytut Studiów Informacyjnych UJ wraz z Kołem Naukowym Studentów ISI UJ. Omówiono ostatnią, piątą odsłonę sympozjum (maj 2023 r.), z zastosowaniem aparatu pojęciowego teorii afordancji w wariancie będącym koniunkcją podejść J. Gibsona i D. A. Normana, praktykowanym w ekologii poznania i refleksji teoretycznej w dziedzinie dizajnu. Wyodrębniono, opisano i oszacowano afordancje adresowane do poszczególnych interesariuszy sympozjum, w szczególności te zrealizowane. Ze zgromadzonych przesłanek empirycznych wywnioskowano, że główną etykietą afordancyjną sympozjum powinno być czytelne powiadomienie, że jest ono wektorem realnego transferu dorobku i umiejętności studentów ISI UJ do otoczenia społeczno-gospodarczego uczelni.

"Faces of Transfer" is a cyclic scholarly and implementation-oriented symposium organized since 2019 by the Institute of Information Studies, JU, and its Students’ Research Group. We discussed the last, fifth edition of this event (May 2023), using the conceptual apparatus of affordance theory in its variant conjoining J. Gibson's and D. A. Norman's approaches, practiced in the ecology of cognition and theory of design. Affordances addressed to restive stakeholders of the symposium were isolated, described and estimated, in particular those actually implemented. From the collected empirical premises, it was concluded that the main affordance label of the symposium should univocally present it as a vector of real transfer of the achievements and skills of ISI UJ students to the socioeconomic environment of the university.
