Celem tej pracy jest pokazanie, w jaki sposób współczesny odbiorca kultury nie tylko ją odbiera, ale także używa, by stworzyć nowe teksty. Jest aktywny, zaangażowany, niezależny i twórczy. Praca ta pokazuje również fan fiction zebrane na jednym forum i bada, w jaki sposób fani wykorzystują tekst źródłowy, czyli cykl książek o Harrym Potterze autorstwa J. K. Rowling - co jest dla nich najbardziej interesujące, co zmieniają - i w jaki sposób - w oryginalnym przekazie.
The aim of this thesis is to show how modern recipients of culture not only receive culture, but they also use it to create something new. They are active, engaged, independent and creative. This thesis also presents Harry Potter fan fiction from certain forum, examines how fans use their source text - Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling - what is most interesting for them, what and how they change.
