Badaniom poddany został system wartości samotnych matek i czynniki, które go różnicują. Badania i publikacje na ten temat są bardzo ważne, ponieważ należy pomagać samotnym matkom okazując im wsparcie i pomoc oraz stworzyć możliwość prawidłowego wypełniania roli rodzicielskiej.
