The image of the noble family in the light of the seventeenth-century testaments of the nobility of Greater Poland

Praca zatytułowana "Wizerunek rodziny szlacheckiej w świetle siedemnastowiecznych testamentów szlachty wielkopolskiej" prezentuje więzi łączące członków rodziny szlacheckiej z terenu Wielkopolski w XVII w. Analizie poddano dyspozycje testamentowe zawarte w siedemnastowiecznych testamentach szlacheckich, które zostały oblatowane w księgach grodzkich powiatów wchodzących w skład dwóch województw: poznańskiego i kaliskiego. Na ich podstawie wyodrębniono problemy badawcze, koncentrujące się na relacjach łączących testatorów z tymi z bliskich (krewnych i powinowatych), których zdecydowali się w swoich testamentach ująć. Jest to więc praca nakierowana głównie na historię mentalności.

The work entitled "The image of the noble family in the light of the seventeenth-century testaments of the nobility of Greater Poland" presents the ties between members of the noble family from the Greater Poland in the seventeenth century. The subject of the analysis were the dispositions contained in the seventeenth-century noblemen's wills, which were checked in the town books of poviats included in two voivodships: Poznań and Kalisz voivodeships. On their basis, research problems were identified, focusing on the relations between testers and those of their family members (relatives and affinities) whom they decided to include in their wills. So it is a work focused mainly on the history of mentality.
